Rapper 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) was photographed
in August 1994 while serving time in a New York State Department of Correctional Services shock incarceration program. 50,
then 19, had pleaded guilty to felony charges of peddling heroin and crack cocaine.
Lil' Kim (aka Kimberly Jones) was arrested by New
Jersey cops in July 1996 and charged with possession of marijuana. The rapper was rounded up after a police raid on the Teaneck
home of Biggie Smalls (aka Christopher Wallace), her rap rabbi.
Marshall Mathers, III (aka Eminem) was arrested twice
in June 2000 on gun charges in Michigan, and was hit last year with probationary sentences in both cases, one in Royal Oak,
the other in Warren (below you'll find mug shots from both those arrests). The rapper was nabbed by Warren cops for carrying
a concealed weapon and assault after fighting with a man he saw kissing his estranged wife Kim outside of a club. He also
got popped for brandishing a weapon during a parking lot beef with members of the rival rap outfit Insane Clown Posse.

Kimora Lee Simmons, the wife of music power Russell
Simmons, was arrested in July 2004 and charged with marijuana possession and a variety of vehicular infractions following
a traffic stop near her New Jersey estate. Saddle River police said Simmons, driving a Mercedes-Benz coupe, repeatedly ignored
their directions to pull her car over as they followed in a cruiser with its lights flashing.
"Godfather of Soul" James Brown, 70, was arrested
by Aiken County cops in January 2004 and charged with domestic violence after allegedly pushing his wife to the floor during
an argument at the couple's South Carolina home. Tommie Rea Brown, 33, suffered "scratches and bruises to her right arm and
hip" during the bedroom dispute, according to investigators.
Wu-Tang Clan member Russell Jones, also known as
Ol' Dirty Bastard, Big Baby Jesus, and presently Dirt McGirt, was paroled from the Clinton Correctional Facility in February
2003. The rapper was photographed by the New York State Department of Correctional Services in December 2001 while serving
2 to 4 years on a drug charge. He previously posed in California after his arrest for making terrorist threats to customers
at a West Hollywood nightclub.

Rakim (aka William Griffin), formerly of the rap
duo Eric B. and Rakim, posed for this Suffolk County, New York sheriff's mug shot in August 1996.
Tupac Shakur was photographed by the New York State
Department of Correctional Services in March 1995. The rap star, convicted in December 1994 of the felony sexual abuse of
a female fan, spent a few months upstate before being bailed out by producer Suge Knight. Shakur, who was sentenced to 1-1/2-to-4-1/2
years in the can, was murdered in September 1996.
Singer Robert Kelly (aka R. Kelly) was arrested in
June 2002 following his indictment in Chicago on 21 counts of child pornography.
Murder, Inc. head Irving Lorenzo (aka Irv Gotti)
was arrested by Oakland, California police in August 2003 and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Cops found a single tab of Ecstasy in his pocket as he attempted to pass through a security checkpoint backstage at an R.
Kelly show. And while it's not illegal, they also found Viagra on the 32-year-old rap impresario.
